Woodland Magic - spring wedding ideas for the natural bride
When this bride told me she was a nature lover and wanted her wedding designed with a forest vibe and all greenery, I was so on board.
Taking place in early May at Dulany’s Overlook, a rustic barn in in Frederick, Maryland, this wedding combined so many natural, classic, and soft elements. From the classic black grooms’ suit to the bouquets made of all greenery.
Style Notes:
The bride was a classic woodland beauty, with an effortless stunning satin dress and a loose braided hair style adorned with baby’s breath and a large bouquet of cascading greenery. She truly looked like she stepped out of a magical forest.
Decor Notes:
A combination of farm tables and white linen round tables filled the rustic barn space. Nature of Design Florals created an organic, earthy, woodsy, natural feel using an assortment of foliage, including Italian ruskus, smilax, bay leaves, dusty miller natural wood bases, moss and vines.
Little Details:
Small details we loved included the simple scalloped cutting cake and tree limb sign-in canvas.
