“Vintage Wild” - a unique design at Elkridge Furnace Inn, Baltimore
This bride had a vision for a colorful wedding with unique details that made it truly theirs. She reached out to Events Full Circle to help curate a design and provide decor. Stephanie was sold once she heard the bridesmaids were wearing suits.
“The design was so unique, it took me a few weeks to get it right. Normally I can knock out a design in a day but there were so many layers to this one. The bride sent me her inspiration photos and while I could see the end product in my head, getting that into a cohesive design on paper was challenging. I finally just decided to focus on color and then add in the unique details. That’s when it started to come together” - Steph
Four different color blocks were created to repeat throughout the space: burgundy, gold, watermelon, and seamist. Each guest table had one of these color scheme blocks. The linen, napkin, and florals all matched in color and the centerpieces alternated between low compote arrangements and tall bud vase arrangements with various candles.
“It was fun to see the guests come into the space because although they had a table number to find, I heard many of them saying - “I think we are at the red table, are you at the pink table? I hope we are at that yellow table.” That was a fun moment to see how the design created an experience for the guests.”
Events Full Circle also created a custom photo back-drop experience. Meant to mimic an old wall with the bride’s style intertwined, a vibrant wallpaper was adhered to the main piece, several holes were cut out and fitted with gold circular frames, and finally off-beat art was added as a final touch. Guests could stand behind the screen in the cut-outs or sit on the Victorian couch and take photos. It was definitely a conversation starter. Events Full Circle also created unique cocktail hour decor that incorporated mini dinosaurs which was an inside joke between the bride and groom.
“I want people to walk away saying that was cool…and a little weird” - The Bride
The head table was the real show stopper. It consisted of two farm tables, taper candles with different colored candlesticks, a bunch of pillar candles, and every single flower color in bud vases, all down the middle of the table.
“There was no way for us to choose one color scheme for the head table. I thought that anchoring it with neutral wood farmhouse tables would work while blasting the whole table with color. The bride said go for it. It’s probably one of my favorite head tables I’ve ever seen and I’m proud we pulled it off.” - Steph
