Completely Change Your Summer With This Mentality

There is a youthful energy that surrounds June and if you can tap into it, June can be such a special month. My mission this June is to live in that energy as much as I possibly can.

Now that my toddler is starting to remember things and create his own memories, I am seeing life through his eyes. It takes me back to when I was young, and I have started to remember people, places, and feelings that I haven’t thought about in a long time.

As you read the next few lines, I invite you to pause after each one and really try to remember how you felt as a kid when…

Your neighborhood pool opened for the first time.

It was the last day of school.

You played outside with neighborhood friends while the sun started to set on a warm summer night.

You waited on your porch for your favorite summer friend to visit their grandparents.

You saw the flickering lights of rollercoasters and Ferris wheels on your way to the neighborhood fair.

You saw the first firefly of the season.

You found your first summer crush at camp.

You first arrived at the beach and HAD to run down to the ocean.

I like to give every month a theme and I am really excited about the one I have come up with for June…

 “Down Memory Lane”.

As we get older, that fun-loving, carefree child starts to hide. Because as adults, we are faced with some scary things and we have to be grown up to deal with them. It’s funny how we do everything to protect our child’s spirit but while doing that, we tend to lose our own. Let me tell you, that inner child is not gone, it’s just tucked away (like that favorite stuffed animal you could never part with).

With times being so different right now, we all are in need of some good old-fashioned fun. My new online store has party plans for purchase that will make it easy for YOU to recreate these nostalgic moments. You can go down memory lane, while also creating new memories with your family. Check out the June theme parties I have currently.

Make sure to subscribe to my newsletter to be the first to know when new party plans and blog posts come out and also follow me on Insta for more summer inspiration.

Let’s all try to feel like a kid again this month!
